Famous Summer Festivals in Rome

The capital city and unique community of Italy, Rome is perceived as one of the world's generally old and best urban areas. Rome's set of experiences ranges more than 2,000 years and it's anything but a solid focus of culture, governmental issues, and power. Every year,  hundreds of big and small summer festivals happen in various locations around Rome. Here I have listed some of the famous summer festivals celebrates in Rome and you must explore these events which celebrate every year during the time of summer.

 Lungo il Tevere

Held in June, Lungo il Tevere is a yearly Roman summer festival that goes on until September. This festival highlights fun occasions, for example, motion pictures displayed outside on Isola Tiberina, extraordinary suppers served at the bars and cafés along Tiber River, and many other unique shows held over time inside the city. 

Festival delle Letterature 

For those gentle souls searching for something other than what's expected, Festival delle Letterature might be a definitive celebration where you can totally inundate yourself in the world of literature. Over the course of the days, this one-of-a-kind summer celebration holds readings of unpublished work,  photo exhibitions, film projections and obviously, books.  Lots and lots of books.

Rock in Roma 

Rock in Roma or Romarock Festival (the 2008 version) is an annual musical event held at Capannelle Racecourse. The event is generally held either in June or July. It's anything but a concert where a few gatherings from various societies and melodic classes perform for a month.
